Abenteuer Schottland: UPDATE! Urlaub in Deutschland!

And with english translation for my english speaking friends ;-)

So, etwas sehr spät, aber besser später als nie.

So, sorry I am late but at least I wrote now something :-D

Der Urlaub mit meiner Gastfamilie in Deutschland war supi. Denen hat es echt gut gefallen.

The holiday with my hostfamily was so great. We had a lot of fun and they enjoyed there time

Nach dem Flug sind wir erst mal zum Hotel gefahren, was von meinem Haus nur 5 min entfernt ist. Anschließend sind wir zu uns und die Kinder sind total am Rad gedreht weil die so aufgeregt waren.

After we arrived at the airport we went to the Hotel, which is just 5 min further along the road from our house. After they left there bags at the hotel, we went to my house and had a rest from the flight. The children were so hyperaktiv.

Jan-Niklas( mein kleiner Nachbar) kam auch gleich rüber und hat sich mit Ross angefreundet. Das englisch sprechen hat dem echt gut getan :-D

Jan- Niklas my neighbour came to our flat and became a friend with ross. And Megan loved him (psst that's a secret) And of course he spoke english with them which was good because he is learning english in school ;-)

Sonntags sind wir dann ab in Westfalenpark nach Dortmund.

On Sunday we went to a huge park in Dortmund which is called Westfalenpark.

Erster halt war natürlich erst mal der erst kleinste park :-D

First Stop in the park was of course a playground.

Da sind die Kiddis. Ross, Megan und Niklas.

There are the 3 of them. Ross, Megan and Niklas.

Und das ist so ein komisches Musik- Mach- Ding. Da ist ma drauf rumgesprungen und hat dann so glockentöne von sich gegeben. Sehr lustig.

And this is a very strange music making thing. You jump on it and it made sounds like bells. Really nice and after a while quite annoying :-D But the children loved it. Of course. Everything what makes annoying noises is interesting for children.

Ja, das ding war auch sehr toll. Aber ich war leider zu groß dafür *heul*
And this thing was very funny as well. I remeber this thing from my childhood and I was so jealous that I couldn't go on it :-(

Und nach ca 1,5 Stunden sind wir endlich am Hauptpark angekommen.Ich hab ja gesagt ist ein riesen Park. Wenn man durch den Eingang geht brauch man sooo lange bis man zu dem großen Piratenspielplatz kommt. Auf dem weg sind ebend die ganzen Sachen, von den oberen Fotos. Musik dinger, kleine Spielplätze, riesen Picknickwiesen und und und.....

And this is the main playground now. It's just a part of it but this was the thing the children most enjoyed. After 1,5 hours we arrived there. And I told you, its a huge park. When you go into the entrance it takes you around 1 hour to get to the main playground. Along the way are small playgrounds, and Music things, huge meadows for picknick and so on.....like on the pictures above. Its so great for children.

Die Kinder haben dann schön lange auf dem Spielplatz gespielt der wirklich riesig ist, das konnte man leider auf einem foto nicht festhalten.

The children were playing in the park for hours and we had peace and quite. It's a really big playground so I couldn't take a picture from it.

Montags sind wir dann nach Hohenlimburg und in die Dechenhöhle. Hohenlimburg ist nen kleines Dorf, nichts besonderes aber Karen wollte ja wissen wie und wo ich wohne. Also stand das natürlich auch auffn Plan. Das ist die Sicht von oben.

On Monday we went to Hohenlimburg which is the part of town where I grew up. Its small and unimportant but Karen wanted to see how and where I live so I showed her :-D That's my town.

Und das ist unser kleiner Marktplatz wo im Sommer das Beste Stadtfest statt findet. Das kann man sich gar nicht vorstellen wie voll es da ist, und wenn man ein gutes Jahr erwischt hat man auch super geile Musik. Da geht echt die post ab.

This is our small market place. All year through its so empty and boring there but in summer, there is the best Summerparty. It will be so crowded and full and party feeling. And there is soooo good music and everone is dancing and singing. Its a lot of fun. Although you meet a lot of people and old friends. Its a great place during this festival.

Ich weiß gar nicht mehr wann wir in Hagen waren, ich glaube auch am Montag, nachdem wir in Hohenlimburg waren. Hohenlimburg ist ein Stadtteil von Hagen und Hagen ist ebend die Stadt Stadt :-D Die haben da sehr viel gebaut um sie attractiver zu machen.

This is part of the main city. This is Hagen shopping centre. Hagen is similar to Falkirk. They build a lot to make it nicer. Hohenlimburg is also a part of Hagen and Hagen is the main city. (Like Bonnybridge belongs to Falkirk council)

Am Dienstag sind wir dann ins Schimmbad gefahren. Das erste Schimmbad (in Deutschland?) mit einer Looping Rutsche.

Sooooooooooooooooo geilo. Bin 2 mal gerutscht und es war affen geil. Man merkt den looping kaum aber der erste abschnitt ist ein freier fall und wenn man da runter schaut wird einem echt schlecht. Danach geht es im affenzahn da durch und in wenigen sekunden ist man auch schon unten. Ansonsten hat dsa Schimmbad noch 2 weitere Rutschen. Eine Reifenrutsche, in der bin ich mit Megan tausend mal runter gerutscht und eine hm ja wie erklärt man das. Ca 80 meter rutsche, die ganz dunkel ist und innen drinne so bunte lichter und so sind. Megan hats geliebt und ich habe fast den ganzen tag damit verbracht da mit Megan runter zu rutschen auf den 2 Rutschen. Dann hat das Schwimmbad noch nen Kleinkindbereich, nen Schummerbecken und nen Solebecken. Echt geil das Schwimmbad.

On Tuesday we went to the swimmingpool. Its the first swimming pool in Germany with a Looping slide. Its sooooo great and exciting. I went down the looping slide 2 times. First there is a free fall and then you get into the looping and after a few seconds you are down. Incredible.

Then there are 2 other slides. A hoop/ring/tyre slide with black round things to sit on and then you go down the waterslide with that one. It was so fun and Megan loved it. Megan adn I went on it a thousend times with Jan Niklas. And then there is a black whole slide. 80 meter long and complete dark, with a few colourful lights. We went down this slide as well a thousend times :-D Megan, Jan Niklas and I loved it. The swimming pool has also a children area, a swimming area and a salt water pool or something like this.

The swimming pool is great and it was the best day we spent in germany :-D

So und hier sind wir wieder zu Hause und ruhen uns aus. (Ich weiß nur nicht mehr wovon :-D) evtl. vom schwimmen oder so. Das Foto ist in unserem (kinder) Zimmer. Karen und die Kinder.

So here we are at home again from an exciting day. I think it was after swimming but I am not sure. Its in my and my brothers room. Karen and the children.
